Taking a fresh approach

SPY is currently working with The London Clinic, the largest independently owned non-profit hospital in the UK to develop their visual brand and patient literature system. Projects so far have included the 2010 consultants directory.

Competition launch

NHS Innovations London have launched a new competition encouraging Specialist Registrars to enter innovative ideas that could be taken forward to prototype and development. SPY designed and produced the competition posters and html e-shot.

Working with Africa

SPY have been appointed by the British Academy to design a major new report showcasing their unique approach to working with Africa and highlighting the impact of the Academy’s research.

New magazine on food issues

The Food Standards Agency is launching a new quarterly publication. Titled Bite, it will cover all the big issues facing UK food safety, food security and nutrition. The 32-page magazine is aimed at stakeholders and influencers across the food industry. Mixing in-depth features and interviews with key commentators the publication aims to raise the debate on major issues such as the impact of GM, future UK food risks and nutrition of organic food. SPY were awarded the contract to design, develop and produce the magazine after a four-way pitch. The first issue is due out in February 2010.

Rewarding work

Moorfields’ Eye Hospital NHS Trust asked SPY to create a suite of literature for its annual staff awards – Moorfields’ Stars. As an important internal event they require a distinctive design style for all elements which will include the awards identity, posters, invites, banner stands and the award programme.
